Changing lives begins with you!
The Richland Church Community Service Team is committed to  meeting the basic needs of those in our community one person at a time.  We currently sponsor a variety of outreach programs and new team members are always welcome.  If you have a servant's heart and a passion for this type of ministry please join us as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus within our community!

Contact us to volunteer or become a part of our team!

We meet EVERY Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:30 am in the Community
Services room.

Can't make it on Wednesday morning?  Contact our Community Services Director - flexible volunteer hours are available to accomodate a variety of schedules.

Tri-Cities Diaper Bank
Formed in January 2011, the Tri-Cities Diaper Bank is the newest face of Adventist Community Services here in Washington. Our organization came about as a direct response to a basic Matthew 25 need; "For I was naked and you clothed me."  We are the first agency of this kind in the Tri-Cities area and enthusiasm for this faith-based ministry is spreading throughout the community. The Diaper Bank is staffed entirely by volunteers from the Richland & Pasco Seventh-day Adventist churches and we have distribution centers located at both churches. As of September, 2013,  the Tri-Cities Diaper Bank has distributed over 350,000 diapers to more than 1,000 of the neediest children living in poverty here in our community. Visit the link above or contact the Church Office at 946-8807 to learn more about this ministy or to get involved.

Friends of Jason Lee Ministries
The Richland church sponsors a number of outreach programs for Jason Lee Elementary School. For students & families in need at Jason Lee Elementary School,  we provide Morning Reading Club, Friday Food Boxes, Thanksgiving & Easter Baskets and a very special Christmas Party. Friends of Jason Lee also allows our church to provide food and toiletry items to Jason Lee students who are in need. However this ministry provides much more than a box of food each week. This is an opportunity for church members to get to know these families & journey with them, interact with them, listen to them and develop loving, supportive, friendships with them.   We see this as a way for us to reach out and share Jesus with them. For questions or to get involved contact Nadine Willis at 308-8417 or the Church Office at 946-8807.    CLICK HERE to see a list of our current food pantry needs.
