Visitors
Welcome...
We know that visiting a new church for the first time can feel a little intimidating—but we want to make your experience as comfortable and welcoming as possible. When you visit the Richland Seventh-day Adventist Church, you can expect a warm and friendly environment, inspiring music, meaningful teaching and preaching, and a place where your whole family will feel right at home. Below, you’ll find answers to some common questions and a glimpse of what your first visit might look like.
What can I expect on my first visit?
Our main worship service starts at 11:00 am and lasts just over an hour. You'll experience uplifting music led by our Worship Team, followed by a clear and engaging message from one of our pastors, rooted in the Bible and relevant to everyday life. Before the service, from 9:30 to 10:45 am, we offer Bible study groups for all ages, including a variety of engaging classes for adults.
Where do I take my children?
From infants through sixth grade, children are invited to engaging, Bible-centered classes from 9:30 to 10:45 am in our children’s wing. These fun and interactive classes are led by caring, well-trained teachers who create a safe and memorable experience for your child.
During the main service, mother’s helpers are available to assist you with your little ones if needed—just speak with one of our greeters, and they’ll be happy to help. We also offer a mother’s room attached to the sanctuary, equipped with changing facilities and a private restroom, where you can care for your child while still listening to the service.
What about my teens?
Our youth ministries are designed specifically for Middle School and High School students. Most teens attend an age-appropriate Bible class from 9:30 to 10:45 am, then join their families for the main worship service at 11:00.
Will there be a meal?
On the first Saturday of every month, we invite everyone to enjoy an all-inclusive potluck lunch in our community hall right after the worship service. We also host a special hospitality meal for visitors on the third Saturday of each month—just our way of saying welcome!
What should I wear?
We are a casual church, so please wear whatever makes you comfortable.
