Community Services

Changing lives begins with you!

Our Community Service Team is passionate about demonstrating the love of God to those in our community who are struggling, or in need. We currently sponsor several programs including the Tri-Cities Diaper Bank, serving the community, and new team members are always welcome! If you have a servant's heart, and a passion for this type of ministry, please join us, as we seek to love our community!

Meets EVERY Wednesday
9:30 - 11:30 am.

Check us out! Here are some of the ways you can get involved...

Did you know...parents living in poverty often have to choose between paying for rent or food, and buying diapers?  Which would you choose?  Help us make their choice easier. Get involved! We are 100% volunteer, and a 501(c)(3). We partner with local social service & faith-based agencies, who distribute diapers to infants in need throughout the Tri-Cities. To date, we've distributed over 2.5 MILLION diapers to these babies.

Join us in the Community Service Room Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am to bag diapers, fill diaper orders, serve families in crisis, & make a difference in the lives of the littlest members of our community!

Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets

Our Community Service Team leads out in organizing, preparing, filling and distributing both Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets to families in need in our community & church each year.

Happy Loomers

We knit hats on round looms for adults and children in need. Become a part of our small group or knit at home on your own. It's fun and easy to do. Skill and creativity are not prerequisites. Anyone can learn to loom knit a hat! If you are interested in learning how to do this super easy ministry, TracyAnne is eager to share what she knows. Fridays from 2:00 - 3:30 pm at the church in the Library.

Jason Lee Ministries

Our church family partners with Jason Lee Elementary School, across the street, and provides support & resources to struggling students and their families. We tutor students at our Morning Reading Club, and provide Friday Food Boxes & Thanksgiving & Christmas Baskets to students & families who are in need. We also have an Angel Tree with gifts for the children, and we hold a very special Christmas Dinner & Party for them. If you have a heart to serve our community, there are many ways you can make a difference in the lives of these children! For more information on how you can get involved CLICK HERE

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Caring hearts and a love of knitting or crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and peace. Knit or crochet a shawl or lap throw for those who are hurting or grieving.  Love to crochet or knit?  You can make a difference creating prayer shawls for those who need comfort and encouragement.
